Title Actons Bar, Macreddin village, Aughrim, County Wicklow.

Project Description A country pub in the village grounds of The Brooklodge Hotel.

Our Brief Was to design a bar which would blend in with the original hotel development. It had to serve hotel guests, tourists and the local village community.

Our Scheme With the use of stone floors, peat fires, boarded ceilings, earthy colours and cosy screened off rooms we created an authentic Irish country pub. By painting all the wood screens and boarding with thick gloss paint the bar looked old from day one. It perfectly complements the relaxing “ lived in “ feel we had developed in the Brooklodge Hotel.
