The 51 Pub

Title The 51 Pub, Dublin City Centre

Project Description Refurbishment of a city centre pub featuring one of the largest collections of whiskies from around the world.

Our Brief To conceive a modern pub incorporating a function room for private parties on the first floor and large screens for sporting events.

Our Scheme By combining some traditional detailing with more contemporary materials, we created a space where drinking is done in real comfort while still keeping the relaxed and homely feeling of a traditional Irish bar. Black and white tiling is used with solid oak flooring and dark stained timberwork to counters and panelling. Hand painted signage was used in a traditional way on the cabinets housing the drinks and old black & white prints alongside alcohol company’s advertising posters were used to decorate the walls.
